Meyssac en Fête is the annual grand votive festival of Meyssac, a commune located in the extreme south of Corrèze, 20 km from Brive-la-Gaillarde. The village is distinguished by its unique red sandstone architecture, which gives its old houses and monuments a special charm.

Each year, around the second weekend of August, Meyssac lives to the rhythm of its popular festival for 3 to 4 days. The event, organized by the Meyssac en Fête committee, attracts thousands of visitors who come to enjoy the entertainment, concerts, and festive atmosphere.

Grand Banda Parades

The highlight of Meyssac en Fête is the grand banda parades that march through the village streets. These colorful and energetic brass bands create a festive Spanish-style atmosphere, drawing the public into a mood of popular celebration.

The bandas perform several times during the festival, taking over the squares and alleys of Meyssac in a joyful musical commotion.

Free Concerts, DJs, and Musical Aperitifs

The musical program is rich: free concerts by contemporary music groups, DJs to get festival-goers dancing until the early hours, and musical aperitifs to start the evenings gently.
