Two large stages and a city center route on June 21, 2026
Every June 21st, Aubagne celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival) in the form of a true mini-festival: two large main stages and a city center route bring together nearly 300 musicians. Coordinated by the Nomades Kultur association with the City of Aubagne, the day is entirely free and features all genres, from jazz to rap, from rock to flamenco.
Since its national creation in 1982, the Fête de la Musique has become one of Aubagne's major popular summer events. On June 21st, music freely takes over public spaces: in the squares and along the city center route, amateurs and professionals perform successively until late into the night, in all styles and for all audiences.
Conceived and designed as a festival, Aubagne's Fête de la Musique is organized around two large main stages — one on cours Foch, the other on esplanade Charles de Gaulle — complemented by a route that leads strollers from one group to another throughout the city. Nearly 300 musicians and about forty groups perform there: jazz, rock, reggae, flamenco, rap, and electronic music share the squares and streets.
Cours Foch hosts the jazz and contemporary music stage, while esplanade Charles de Gaulle is dedicated to urban music, with a 100% rap program featuring local artists. The Chapelle de l'Observance extends the celebration with choral and flamenco music.
The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Aubagne will take place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge throughout the city center. Conceived as a festival by the Nomades Kultur association with the City of Aubagne, it brings together nearly 300 musicians around two main stages — Cours Foch and Esplanade Charles de Gaulle — and a route through the city center.
