About Music Festival in Beauvais
Every June 21st, Beauvais celebrates the Fête de la Musique: musicians, dancers, Conservatory students, and guest artists freely take over the city's streets, squares, and cultural venues. Organized by the City of Beauvais, the day is entirely free and brings together all styles, from rock to rap, jazz to folk, including classical music and traditional dances.
The Fête de la Musique in Beauvais
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Beauvais into an open-air stage every June 21st. For the shortest night of the year, orchestras, bands, associations, and students from the Conservatoire Eustache-du-Caurroy gather with the same energy to make this day an open, eclectic, and warm moment.
A celebration spread throughout the city center
Each year, the City of Beauvais sets up several official stages in the heart of the city, complemented by street performances and concerts offered on the terraces and inside partner bars and restaurants. From Place de l'Hôtel-Dieu to Square Buzanval-Roncières, from the Rostropovitch auditorium to Saint-Étienne church, genres coexist without hierarchy: rock, rap, blues, jazz, dance, classical music, electro, and folk dances.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Beauvais takes place on Sunday, June 21, free of charge throughout the city center. Several official stages, labeled by the City of Beauvais, animate the heart of the city, complemented by street performances and concerts from partner bars and restaurants.

Place de l'Hôtel-Dieu — Rap & Rock, 6 PM-10:45 PM
Six artists will perform successively, including Horfang (post rock), Serial Bangers (rock), BVS, Lyme P and Level'Up (rap) and the Cristo Blues Band (blues).
Cour de l'Espace culturel — Dance, 3 PM-8 PM
Seven associations offer hip-hop, flamenco, African dance, and salsa-bachata.
Le Quadrilatère, 1 PM-5 PM
David Catel (jazz piano) and The Stray Caps (piano-saxophone).
Square Buzanval-Roncières, 6 PM-1 AM
Ytef, Brume, Horfang, Heri Fara and Selv (DJ mental tekno).
Auditorium Rostropovitch, 3 PM-4 PM
Octave 5 (clarinets) and Folk'n Cello (rock-variety).

- Partner Bars: seven establishments in the center host concerts (Touco, Burger Café Dagniaux, Grande Maison, Little Italy, Cyrano, Lutetia, L'After).
