Venetian Carnival and costume parade in Beauvais
2026
About Les Rencontres Beauvénitiennes
For one weekend in September, the Rencontres Beauvénitiennes transform the heart of Beauvais into a scene straight out of a Venetian carnival. Between fifty and sixty participants dressed in elaborate Commedia dell'arte-inspired costumes and masks wander through the streets before gathering for a grand parade at the Place Jeanne-Hachette. This free event has been hosted by the City of Beauvais since its inception in 2016.
