About Music Festival in Cenon
Every June 21, Cenon celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, students from the municipal music school, and invited groups play for free in the streets, squares, and cultural venues of the city. Organized by the City of Cenon, on the right bank of Bordeaux Métropole, the day is entirely free and open to all.
The Fête de la Musique in Cenon
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Cenon into an open-air stage every June 21. On the heights of the right bank of Bordeaux Métropole, music freely takes over public spaces, from neighborhood brass bands to concerts in cultural venues, for all genres and all audiences.

Usually, the festival unfolds in several locations within the commune: brass band parades, concerts in media libraries, activities in squares and markets, and performances by students from the municipal music school. Cenon's cultural venues also participate in the event.
