About Music Festival in Chemillé-en-Anjou
Every June, Chemillé-en-Anjou celebrates the Fête de la Musique in several of its delegated communes. In 2026, the festival will focus on Saturday, June 20 in the center of Chemillé and on Sunday, June 21, the day of the national Fête de la Musique, at the Domaine culturel de Saint-Lézin. Organized by the commune of Chemillé-en-Anjou, the event is entirely free and brings together local groups, brass bands, junior orchestras, and open stages for amateur musicians.
The Fête de la Musique in Chemillé-en-Anjou
As everywhere in France since 1982, every June the Fête de la Musique transforms the streets and squares of Chemillé-en-Anjou into open-air stages. In the heart of the Mauges, the new commune deploys its program across several delegated communes, with free concerts open to all, wandering brass bands, and stages reserved for local talents.
A festival spread across the territory
In 2026, the highlight will take place on Saturday, June 20 in the center of Chemillé, where several squares will come alive simultaneously: the Fanfarmonie and groups from the Mauges music schools at Place Notre-Dame, junior orchestras and an amateur stage at Place Urbain II, concerts at Place des Perrochères, and brass bands wandering through the streets. On Sunday, June 21, the day of the national Fête de la Musique, the celebration continues at the Domaine culturel de Saint-Lézin with an open stage and several groups. Musical evenings are also organized in the delegated communes of La Tourlandry and Chanzeaux.

Musical meal and open-air popular dance.
Chemillé — town center, Saturday, June 20th from 7 PM
- Place Notre-Dame: la Fanfarmonie (about thirty musicians, pop-rock standards) and a dozen youth groups from the Mauges music schools.
- Place Urbain II (7:15 PM): junior orchestras (about sixty musicians, world music, jazz, pop) and open stage for amateur talents.
- Place des Perrochères (8 PM): Stabar, Madame Oscar and Rest Up.
- Street performances (8:45 PM and 10:20 PM): la Fanfare Chik and Chok in the town center streets.
Saint-Lézin — Domaine culturel, Sunday, June 21st from 3 PM
Open stage and free concerts with Blue Garces, Kalicoco, The Renegades, Les Bailleurs de Sons, La Fausse Note and Replay'z.
