Free concerts throughout the city center on June 21, 2026
Every June 21, Orléans celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, music school students, and professional artists play for free in the streets, squares, and terraces of the city center. Organized by the Ville d'Orléans, the evening is entirely free, marked by spontaneity, and the entire city transforms into an open-air stage until late into the night.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Orléans into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.
The Orléans edition is marked by spontaneity: amateur and professional musicians can freely set up in the streets of the historic center, where ephemeral stages, street concerts, and lively terraces follow one another. The heart of the celebration beats around the Place du Martroi and its equestrian statue of Jeanne d'Arc, the Châtelet, the Place de l'Étape in front of the Hôtel de Ville, the surroundings of the Cathédrale Sainte-Croix, and the lively pedestrian streets of the Quartier Bourgogne.
