About Music Festival in Vernon
Every June 21, Vernon, at the gates of Normandy on the banks of the Seine, celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival): dozens of groups and musicians, both amateur and professional, play for free in the streets, squares, and in the bars and restaurants of the city center. Organized by the City of Vernon, the day is entirely free and open to all musical styles.

For 2026, the City of Vernon has moved the Fête de la Musique to Saturday, June 20th. Three stages in the city center will host the official program from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, featuring the finale of a talent contest organized by Rock in the Barn.

Usually, Vernon's city center is given over to musicians and strollers: stages are set up in squares and pedestrian streets, while participating bars and restaurants schedule their own concerts.
