The Fête de la Musique in Villenave-d'Ornon
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city into an open-air stage every June 21. In Villenave-d'Ornon, a town in the Gironde department of the Bordeaux metropolitan area, the event takes place in the green heart of Parc Sourreil, where music freely takes over the public space for a summer evening.
Two Stages, Eight Groups
The 2026 edition features two open-air stages, the South Stage and the North Stage, which run simultaneously from 7 PM to 11 PM. Genres coexist without hierarchy: rock, blues, trip hop, jazz fusion, musical slam, and funky pop take turns throughout the evening, performed by regional bands.
