About Music Festival in Voiron
Every June 21, Voiron celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur and professional musicians, conservatory students, choirs, and regional groups perform for free in the city center and on the forecourt of Saint-Bruno Church. The day is entirely free and open to all, from rock to world music, including brass bands and contemporary music.
The Fête de la Musique in Voiron
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Voiron, in the heart of the Pays voironnais, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from midday until late in the evening, in all genres and for all audiences.
A celebration in the city center and at Saint-Bruno Church
Voiron's city center is given over to musicians and strollers: cafe terraces, squares, and streets come alive throughout the day, while the forecourt and Saint-Bruno Church host a series of evening concerts. The Voiron conservatory, its students, and regional ensembles put together an eclectic program, from conservatory creations to brass bands, from indie pop to contemporary music.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Voiron will take place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge in the city center. The Voiron conservatory and several regional groups will perform successively in the evening at Saint-Bruno Church, ranging from brass bands to world music and rock.

Program announced for the 2026 edition:
Saint-Bruno Church — in the evening
- 6:00 PM — Voiron Conservatory Student Workshops: students present a varied concert, reflecting their year's learning, including instrumental pieces and collective creations.
- 8:00 PM — Riah Brass Band: brass concert, featuring pieces adapted for fanfares and arrangements for brass band.
- 9:00 PM — Wallia: European indie pop and world music with African sounds.
- 10:00 PM — Stone Mouth: Grenoble rock, original compositions and covers.
The group Menace to Society is also featured in this edition. Additionally, concerts and musical entertainment are offered in the city center, on terraces, and in the city's establishments.
