Montlouis-sur-Loire, a wine-growing town located between Tours and Amboise on the left bank of the Loire, organizes its Night Markets during the summer on Place Abraham Courtemanche. These summer evenings are an opportunity to discover local crafts and regional products in a musical and friendly atmosphere, in the heart of an area renowned for its exceptional white wines.

The Montlouis-sur-Loire appellation in the spotlight

Montlouis-sur-Loire is the birthplace of a prestigious wine appellation, producing remarkable white wines from the chenin grape (or pineau de la Loire): dry, semi-dry, mellow, and sparkling. The night markets are naturally an opportunity to taste and buy these wines directly from local winegrowers, in a relaxed and friendly setting.

About twenty artisans and producers

Each night market brings together around 20 artisans and producers who present their creations and specialties: handmade jewelry, fashion accessories, scented candles, essential oils, decorative items, local products, and other handmade treasures. These artisans share their know-how and passion with visitors, creating moments of authentic exchange.

Music, food, and carousel

A musical group livens up each evening, offering a festive soundtrack that accompanies strolls between the stalls. Restaurateurs are present to offer dishes to enjoy on site, while a carousel delights the youngest. In conjunction with riverside events

In July, the night market is associated with a flea market on the banks of the Loire, organized by the association "Bien vivre au Bas-Rocher" on Quai Albert Baillet from 2 PM. This double program offers a full afternoon and evening of leisure and discoveries along the Loire.
