Every summer, the Place Saint-Denis in Amboise transforms into a lively and gourmet night market during the « À la Belle Étoile » Night Markets. From July to mid-August, Tuesday evenings become the unmissable appointments of the Amboise summer, attracting locals and tourists in a festive and friendly atmosphere.

A Market at the Foot of the Royal Château

The Place Saint-Denis, located in the heart of the royal city of Amboise, offers an exceptional setting for these summer evenings. A stone's throw from the Royal Château, where Leonardo da Vinci lived, and the Saint-Denis church, the stalls of artisans and producers are set up in a remarkable heritage setting, lulled by the gentle Loire summer evenings.

Arts and Crafts and Local Gastronomy

The night markets bring together a selection of artisans and designers offering jewelry, ceramics, leather goods, textiles, decorative items, and original works. The gastronomic section highlights local producers and their specialties: rillettes, rillons, goat cheeses, honey, jams, Touraine wines, and a variety of sweet and savory treats to enjoy on-site or take away.

A Concert Every Tuesday Evening

Each Tuesday, a different musical group livens up the evening, offering an eclectic program that delights festival-goers. The 2025 edition notably featured Gainsbourg et Caetera, Jukebox de Luxe, LoumanB, Tirami Swing, Kind of Friends, Joli Jardin Square, and So'n CO. This musical diversity, from swing to rock, jazz, and contemporary music, contributes to creating a unique atmosphere each evening.

Seven Evenings of Summer Bliss

From 5 PM to midnight, the night markets offer seven weekly events throughout the summer: from July 8 to August 19 in 2025. This regularity and duration make it one of the most important summer events in Amboise, allowing visitors to return several times and have different experiences each evening.
