11th Edition — "The Symphony of Elements"
Objectif Cuivres returns to Buzançais (Indre) for its 11th edition, from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21, 2026. Organized by the Amicale Harmonie de Buzançais and the City of Buzançais, this workshop brings together brass musicians — trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba — for five days of ensemble work.
The 2026 edition takes place under the theme "The Symphony of Elements": water, earth, air, and fire serve as a musical and symbolic guiding thread to explore the harmony of the ensemble. The workshop is open to a wide audience of musicians, from the end of the first cycle to confirmed instrumentalists, in a spirit combining conviviality and high standards.
The week concludes on Friday, August 21 with a public restitution concert, presenting the work carried out in ensembles throughout the workshop.
Accommodation and Registration
Half-board and full-board options are offered to participants to fully experience the week on site. Registration for the 2026 edition was open from February 1 to June 30, 2026.

A week dedicated to brass
Objectif Cuivres is an annual musical workshop dedicated to brass instruments, organized every summer in Buzançais by the Amicale Harmonie de Buzançais and the City of Buzançais. For five days, amateur and experienced musicians — trumpeters, horn players, trombonists, and tubists — gather to work in chamber music ensembles under the guidance of experienced professors.
An educational and friendly format
The workshop takes place at the music school in Buzançais, with daily sessions from 9:30 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM. Participants work in various formations — trios, quintets, and larger ensembles — and benefit from personalized exchanges with the instructors. The atmosphere is resolutely friendly, combining musical rigor with the pleasure of collective playing.
A festive closing concert
Each edition concludes with a public performance held at the Buzançais town hall. This event is an opportunity for participants to showcase the work accomplished during the week, followed by a festive moment with musical entertainment.
Ten editions of excellence
Since its creation in 2016, Objectif Cuivres has built a loyal following of passionate musicians who return year after year. The 2025 edition, the 10th, celebrated this anniversary with an original theme: "Objectif Cuivres goes to the movies," featuring film music arranged for brass ensembles.
Rooted in local musical life
Objectif Cuivres is part of Buzançais's musical tradition, supported by the Amicale Harmonie, a historic association in the town. The workshop contributes to the musical influence of the municipality alongside other events such as the Ska Buz Festival and BUZ'en Scène, making Buzançais a dynamic cultural hub in the south of Indre.
