About Open-Air Festival - Air Show
Since 2023, this open-air festival has brought together civil and military aviation at the Sorigny airfield in Indre-et-Loire. The event is organized by the town of Sorigny in partnership with the Aéroclub de Touraine and the French Air and Space Force, which provides crews and equipment from the Tours/Cinq-Mars-la-Pile Air Base 705. The day features a mix of aerial displays, ground exhibitions, helicopter rides, and an evening concert on the tarmac.
Open-Air Festival - Air Show — edition 2026
For its 4th edition, the Festival à Ciel Ouvert returns on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, at the Sorigny airfield. Join us from 10 am to 7 pm for a free event featuring civil and military air displays, helicopter rides, and flight simulators, followed by an evening concert on the tarmac hosted by Tour Vibration radio.

A tradition born in 2023
The first edition of this open-air festival was held in 2023 at the Sorigny airfield. For its third edition in 2025, the town has strengthened its partnership with the French Air and Space Force and the Tours/Cinq-Mars-la-Pile Air Base 705, combining civil and military demonstrations at a single venue.
