14th edition of FIBDR — June 3 to 7, 2026
The Reims Interplanetary Comic Strip Festival (FIBDR) returns for its 14th edition from June 3 to 7, 2026. As every year, the festival is organized by the TRAC association and spans several locations in Reims: Le Temps des Cerises (marquees set up in the racecourse car park) which hosts the heart of the festival, the Bibliothèque Carnegie and the Cinéma Opéraims for satellite events.
The visual for this edition was created by Riff Reb's, an author renowned for his comic book adaptations of great maritime and fantastic texts.
Around thirty invited authors
Among the announced authors: Riff Reb's, Edith, Edmond Baudoin, Fabrice Erre, Delphine Le Lay, Rafael Ortiz, Camille Potte, Bruno Bessadi, Chadia Loueslati, Alex Baladi, Isabelle Maroger, Alexis Horellou, Nicolas Moog, Céline Penot, Richard Di Martino, Zelba, Benoît Blary, Daniel Casanave and many others.
Festival format
The FIBDR combines a comic book convention (signings, meetings with authors), exhibitions at local partners, screenings, workshops open to the public, drawing battles for young talents, and a live drawing concert. The weekend of June 6 and 7 is entirely free and open access; only a few specialized workshops and the opening live drawing concert require prior reservation (very affordable rates).
An associative and cultural organization
The festival is organized by the TRAC association, a Reims-based structure that also runs Le Temps des Cerises, the Supercrampe leisure circus school, and the Fracas festival. The FIBDR is supported by SOFIA, ADAGP, the Département de la Marne, and the City of Reims.
