Metal and Hardcore in Touraine

RIIP Fest is a festival dedicated to metal and hardcore music that takes place every summer at the Espace Oésia in Notre-Dame-d'Oé, very close to Tours. Since its creation in 2017, the festival has built a strong identity and a solid reputation on the French metal festival circuit, attracting fans of extreme music from all over France and Europe.

High-Level International Lineups

RIIP Fest stands out for the quality of its international lineups. The 2025 edition (9th edition) hosted legends like Napalm Death (grindcore pioneers), Stick To Your Guns (American hardcore figures), and All Out War (masters of crossover thrash/hardcore), alongside Xibalba, TRC, Desolated, Brat, No Turning Back, Xile, Worst Doubt, Alma, Black Mantra, Insurgent, Another Bloodshed, and 20 Seconds to Comply.

The 10th Edition in 2026

For its 10th edition on July 3rd and 4th, 2026, RIIP Fest is pulling out all the stops with an exceptional lineup: Thrown, Cancer Bats, and D.R.I. headlining, accompanied by fifteen bands from international and French scenes. This anniversary edition promises to be a highlight for the Touraine metal community and beyond.

Espace Oésia, a Suitable Venue

The Espace Oésia in Notre-Dame-d'Oé, a versatile cultural complex, offers a technical setting suited to the demands of a metal festival: a quality stage, powerful sound system, and complementary indoor and outdoor spaces. Located just ten minutes from the center of Tours, the venue is easily accessible by car and public transport.

A Community Festival

RIIP Fest embodies the community spirit of the hardcore and metal scene. Beyond the concerts, the festival is a place for meeting and sharing for a passionate community. Merch stands, distros (record and fanzine distribution), and on-site catering contribute to creating a warm and engaged atmosphere. The festival is run by a team of volunteers from the local scene, who put their passion to work for the metal community.
