The Route 996 Rock and Motorcycle Festival is an unmissable summer event in Évaux-les-Bains, the only spa town in Creuse. Created over twenty years ago, this free-spirited and friendly festival combines the passion for rock music and two-wheelers. The event takes place on the Avenue de la République, near the stadium and cinema, offering a vast outdoor space to host concerts, motorcycle exhibitions, and activities.

Concerts, Stunts, and Shows

The festival's program mixes rock concerts on stage, motorcycle stunt shows, slow races, engine throwing contests, and piloting demonstrations. The Wall of Death, a spectacular attraction where bikers ride vertically in a wooden cylinder, has been a highlight of several editions. Equestrian shows, an artisan market, and a funfair complete the program, making Route 996 a family event open to all.

A Gathering of Enthusiasts

The festival is open to all two-wheelers and welcomes seasoned bikers as well as families and the curious. Admission is free, in a spirit of sharing and friendliness dear to the organizers. Motorcycle rides in the Creuse countryside are offered, allowing visitors to discover the rolling landscapes of Combraille. The festival has experienced moments of glory and difficulty, even launching a call for donations after a challenging edition, demonstrating the community's attachment to this unique event.
