The greatest rock bands revisited by the best French cover bands
Every spring, the Saint-Lô Tribute Fest transforms the Normandy hall into a temple of rock and pop. This festival, born in 2019, is based on a concept that is as simple as it is exhilarating: bringing together three of the best cover bands in France on the same stage to offer the audience an unforgettable concert evening.
The principle of the Tribute Fest is to pay homage to the greatest bands and artists in the history of rock and pop music. Each edition features a carefully selected program, showcasing bands specializing in the faithful reproduction of concerts by legends such as Queen, U2, ABBA, AC/DC, Muse, Téléphone, or The Rolling Stones. These cover bands, recognized among the best in France, offer impressive stage performances with costumes, sound, and lighting worthy of the originals.
The festival takes place at Le Normandy, the Scène de Musiques Actuelles (SMAC) in Saint-Lô, certified by the Ministry of Culture. Located on Place du Champ de Mars, this emblematic venue in the city offers remarkable acoustics and an ideal capacity to fully enjoy the energy of the concerts. Le Normandy is a major cultural player in the Manche department, programming artists from the current music scene throughout the year.
The Tribute Fest brings together a multigenerational audience, from nostalgic fans of rock's golden age to younger generations discovering these timeless classics. The atmosphere is electric, the audience sings, dances, and vibrates to the rhythm of the iconic songs. The venue's bar offers refreshments throughout the evening, contributing to the warm and friendly atmosphere that characterizes the event.
Scheduled every year in April, the Tribute Fest marks the beginning of the festival season in Manche. It is part of a cultural dynamic driven by Le Normandy and local stakeholders, making Saint-Lô a leading musical destination in Normandy.
The Saint-Lô Tribute Fest returns in 2026 for another evening paying tribute to the greatest rock and pop bands. The official lineup will be announced on the Le Normandy website.
