The Saint-Vincent Tournante: Burgundy's biggest wine festival

Since 1938, the Saint-Vincent Tournante has brought together the entire Burgundy vineyard on the last weekend of January around a host appellation. This itinerant festival, unique in France, celebrates Saint Vincent, the patron saint of winegrowers, in a spirit of solidarity and conviviality that perpetuates the age-old traditions of Burgundy's wine brotherhoods.

2026: Les Maranges in the spotlight

The 82nd edition will take place on January 24 and 25, 2026 in the AOC Maranges, the southernmost appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Three villages will host the festivities: Cheilly-lès-Maranges, Dezize-lès-Maranges, and Sampigny-lès-Maranges. A little-known but fascinating wine region, with characteristic terroirs producing powerful reds and elegant whites.

The parade of the 82 mutual aid societies

On Saturday morning, the procession will set off from Cheilly-lès-Maranges for a 7.8-kilometer route through the three villages. 82 mutual aid societies from all over Burgundy, representing nearly 700 participants in traditional attire, will parade to the sound of four brass bands, carrying the statues of Saint Vincent. This majestic parade is one of the most moving moments of the festival, embodying the ancestral solidarity of Burgundy winegrowers.

15 tasting cellars and 7 collective vintages

At the heart of the event, 15 tasting cellars — five per village — will welcome the public. Visitors with a Tasting Kit (€25) will discover 7 exclusive collective vintages: Maranges Village and Premier Cru reds from the 2018 and 2020 vintages, as well as whites from 2022, 2023, and 2024, including a Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. These wines have been specially selected and blended for the occasion and are unavailable elsewhere.

The Gala Banquet in Beaune

On Saturday evening, the Palais des Congrès in Beaune will host an exceptional gala banquet. 1,000 guests will savor a six-course dinner orchestrated by chef Éric Pras (MOF 2004, Lameloise restaurant in Chagny), accompanied by Quentin Thomas (Maison Huez) and the 2018 world pastry champion Marie Simon. With meticulously selected food and wine pairings, this banquet is one of the gastronomic highlights of the Burgundy winter.

Les Maranges in music

The theme of the 2026 edition, “Les Maranges in music,” will be present throughout the weekend with musical entertainment — jazz, rock, and DJs — spread across the three villages. On Sunday, a “giant Burgundy toast” will bring all participants together at noon for a moment of festive communion, before a conference on the history of Saint Vincent in the afternoon.
