Soulac'n Jazz is a jazz festival that takes place every August in Soulac-sur-Mer, a historic seaside resort at the tip of the Médoc. Created in 2023, it has quickly found its audience thanks to a quality program in an exceptional setting facing the Atlantic Ocean.
IN and OFF Program
The festival offers a dual program: IN concerts in the Salle Notre-Dame and the Basilique de la Fin-des-Terres, and free OFF concerts every morning on the Esplanade des Girondins facing the ocean.

Soulac-sur-Mer offers a unique setting for a jazz festival: the free morning sets facing the Atlantic waves are an unforgettable experience. The town, with its listed basilica and its Soulacais villas, adds a heritage dimension to the event.

Despite its youth, the festival attracts renowned jazz artists and offers a demanding program that covers different facets of contemporary jazz.
Soulac'n Jazz — edition 2026
The 4th edition of Soulac'n Jazz takes place from August 20 to 23, 2026 in Soulac-sur-Mer, facing the ocean, with a special focus on the voice of jazz. The program includes: a paid IN stage with concerts by national and international artists and an entirely free OFF stage on the Esplanade des Girondins, complemented by film screenings, jazz for children, and meetings.
Soulac'n Jazz 2026 - 4th edition
For its fourth edition, from Thursday, August 20 to Sunday, August 23, 2026, Soulac'n Jazz honors the voice of jazz in Soulac-sur-Mer, in Gironde. The festival opens on Wednesday, August 19 with a screening of a jazz film at the Oceanic cinema, followed by a presentation by a specialized journalist.
The program is structured around two complementary stages:
- The IN: paid concerts featuring headliners and original musical projects, with a place reserved for emerging talents from Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
- The OFF: an entirely free open stage, with local jazz bands playing daily facing the sea on the Esplanade des Girondins.
The festival also offers events centered around music: screening of the film "Everybody Digs Bill Evans", a concert at the public EHPAD Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, and activities for young audiences.
