About Souzay-Champigny Food Truck Festival
Every year in early September, the Souzay-Champigny town hall sets up food trucks along the Loire riverbank, right in front of the village, for a weekend of open-air dining. Around a dozen trucks line the quay, accompanied by live music, a refreshment bar run by the local festival committee, and bouncy castles for the kids. The event was launched in 2025 through a partnership between the town hall and the Street Food en Mouvement association, starting with seven food trucks for an inaugural edition that drew around two thousand visitors.
Souzay-Champigny Food Truck Festival — edition 2026
Following the success of its inaugural year, which drew two thousand visitors, the Souzay-Champigny town hall is bringing its food truck festival back to the banks of the Loire. For one weekend, a dozen trucks will line the quay, serving up everything from burgers, pizzas, and Breton galettes to Réunionese specialties and global cuisine. Live bands will provide the soundtrack to your meal, and there will be a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained.

- 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM — A dozen food trucks: Poly Évent (hamburgers), Auroy Pizza, O P'tit Palai (hot dogs), Papa Popote (ham, nuggets), M Délice (Surinamese cuisine), Les Délices de Lili (Réunionese cuisine), a Breton crêpe and galette truck, Times Food (Mexican cuisine), Sawadee (Thai cuisine), Domaine des Passeraux (wine) · Cale de Loire
- 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM — Sweet treats stand (ice cream, waffles, cotton candy) and a refreshment bar run by the festival committee
