Open-air electronic music festival in Laburgade
The Summer Of Rom Festival is an open-air electronic music festival organized by the Ren'Art association in Laburgade, in the Lot. Born in 2020 under the name Summer Of Love, it was renamed in 2023 in tribute to Romain Dolo, a founding member of the collective who tragically died in a road accident. Every summer, the festival brings together around forty artists on two simultaneous stages for more than 36 hours of music, in an intimate and family-friendly setting in the heart of the Quercy Causses.
The Summer Of Rom Festival is an electronic music festival held every summer in Laburgade, on farmland located between Lalbenque and Laburgade, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy. This adventure began in 2020, after the first lockdown, under the name Summer Of Love Festival, with the aim of enriching the local cultural offerings of the Lot by providing an original program in an intimate outdoor setting.
In 2023, the festival changed its name to become the Summer Of Rom Festival, in tribute to Romain Dolo, a founding member of the Ren'Art collective, who tragically died in a road accident in late 2022. This name change carries Romain's memory at the heart of each edition, and a solemn tribute is paid to him at the close of each festival.
Summer Of Rom offers a musical program that embraces the full diversity of electronic music. On its two stages, Rodolfo and Tudurüm, emerging local and Toulouse artists perform alongside renowned international names. The genres represented cover a wide spectrum:
Each edition brings together around forty artists for more than 36 hours of music from Friday to Sunday, offering a continuous immersive experience.
Summer Of Rom is distinguished by its artisanal and authentic spirit. The scenography is entirely designed and created by the festival team, with wooden structures, colorful tents, and a handmade entrance arch. The Ren'Art association, with about thirty members and supported by as many volunteers, favors local suppliers and service providers to preserve the spirit of the region.
The festival also offers numerous complementary activities:
Shaded camping is available for festival-goers, reinforcing the community and family spirit that defines this now essential summer event in the Lot.
Over the editions, Summer Of Rom has become a true family built year after year: an event with an irresistible "come back for more" feel, a place where everyone naturally finds their place. The festival deliberately maintains a limited capacity to ensure the quality of the experience and the comfort of festival-goers, prioritizing intimacy over growth.
The Summer Of Rom Festival takes place outdoors on farmland in Laburgade (46230), near Lalbenque, in the south of the Lot department.
The festival takes place every year in July, from Friday to Sunday (three days).
Tickets are available online on Weezevent. 2-day passes (Saturday-Sunday) and 3-day passes (Friday-Sunday) are available. Prices vary depending on the purchase period (early birds, regular birds, late birds).
Shaded camping is available free of charge for festival pass holders.
