The Hall Hennebique in Romorantin
The Journées Gastronomiques de Sologne take place at the Fabrique Normant, in the Hall Hennebique, on avenue François Mitterrand in Romorantin-Lanthenay. Founded in 1978, the fair brings together about 90 producers and artisans: game, freshwater fish, charcuterie, wines, liqueurs, honey, chocolate and pastries.
The programme on 24/10/2026 opens with the official inauguration at 9:30 am. The fair stays open until 8 pm. On Sunday, doors open at 9 am and close at 7 pm.
The heart of the fair is the cooking competitions. Cooks, pastry chefs, bakers, chocolatiers and pork butchers compete in front of the public, and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, European and world champions sit on the juries or give live demonstrations.
Talks and round tables on gastronomy are also held at the fair. An adult ticket costs 7 euros and is valid for both days, it drops to 5 euros for 14 to 18 year olds, and children under 14 get in free.
