The Reims Champagne Run, from a free 5 km to an ultra-trail
The Reims Champagne Run takes over the city on October 10-11, 2026. The company Playground runs it, and the race used to be called "Reims à Toutes Jambes". In its first edition, in 2023, more than 13,000 runners showed up.
Eight races share the weekend: a free 5 km at a relaxed pace, a 10 km, a half marathon, a marathon, a kids' race, a four-person relay and the big one, the Sacré Trail.
That one crosses 37 communes of Greater Reims, through forests, UNESCO-listed vineyard slopes and Champagne villages. It is UTMB-indexed. Eight aid stations line the 87 kilometers, and the four-person relay splits the distance.
The race village sits on the Place de la Porte de Mars. Bibs are collected there, and the 10 km and the half marathon finish there.
The routes pass the Notre-Dame cathedral, the Porte de Mars and the big champagne houses before heading for the Montagne de Reims. Shuttles link the station to the village and to the CREPS. Entry starts at 25 euros for the 10 km, 50 euros for the marathon and 75 euros for the Sacré Trail; a medical certificate under a year old is required, except for the 5 km.

In Laquenexy, the Fête des Jardins et des Saveurs gathers more than 70 exhibitors at the Jardins Fruitiers, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October, with talks, workshops and culinary masterclasses. Tickets cost 7 euros, 5 for the reduced rate.
Molsheim celebrates the grape on the same days, around the Hôtel de la Monnaie. The Fête du Raisin puts the Bruderthal Grand Cru forward: winegrowers open their cellars, and the weighing of the Grape Queen opens Sunday. Entry is free, tastings are paid.
On Sunday, October 11, Pépinière en Fête opens the Parc de la Pépinière in Nancy to four stages with free access and no booking: world music, songs, shows for children. It is the free day of Nancy Jazz Pulsations.
