Jazz, groove, and contemporary art in the courtyards and barns of Hermonville
Since 2010, the Art et Jazz dans ma Cour festival has established itself as a must-see cultural event in the Grand Reims region. Nestled in the village of Hermonville, just 12 km from Reims, in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, this biennial event transforms the village center into a vast open-air art gallery and jazz stage. Born from the initiative of a simple group of friends—including Stéphane Keyser—sharing their passion for music and visual arts, the festival has grown over the editions to become a major event attracting over 6,500 festival-goers.
The originality of Art et Jazz dans ma Cour lies in its unique concept: the village streets are completely closed to traffic, and the town center becomes pedestrian for the weekend. Festival-goers wander freely through the streets to discover the works of about forty contemporary artists—painters, sculptors, photographers, and street artists—exhibited directly in the courtyards, barns, and barns of Hermonville residents. This proximity between artists, residents, and the public creates a friendly and warm atmosphere, conducive to exchange and discovery.
The musical aspect of the festival is equally rich. More than 20 groups and formations perform on four stages spread throughout the village:
The musical program mixes jazz, groove, soul, funk, swing, and world music, with national and international headliners. The 2024 edition notably featured Yuri Buenaventura, Vincent Peirani & Emile Parisien, and Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. For 2026, Malted Milk and Paris Combo are announced as headliners.
The festival is organized by the Hermon'Style association, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the village of Hermonville through cultural, sporting, and leisure events. Over 150 volunteers mobilize for each edition to ensure the welcome, logistics, catering, and security of the festival. Loyal partners also support the event, contributing to its sustainability and growing influence in the Grand Est region.
The festival makes a point of offering varied and original catering, in line with the friendly spirit of the event. Food stalls and food trucks are spread along the route, allowing festival-goers to eat while enjoying concerts and exhibitions. The festive atmosphere continues until late in the evening on Saturday, with a headline concert as the highlight of the weekend.

The Art et Jazz dans ma Cour festival returns for its 8th edition on June 13 and 14, 2026 in Hermonville, in the Champagne vineyards 12 km from Reims. After the 6,500 festival-goers gathered in 2024, the Hermon'Style association offers a dense program mixing jazz, soul, funk, brass band and world music, with a visual arts component entrusted to some forty visual artists exhibiting in the courtyards, barns and outbuildings of the village.
Four major groups are announced as headliners: Malted Milk, a Nantes septet celebrating thirty years of soul, blues and funk; Jazz Passengers with trumpeter Stéphane Belmondo, a figure of bebop and French jazz; Paris Combo, paying tribute to its historic singer Belle du Berry with a repertoire mixing jazz, swing and chanson; and Thomas Leleu, a virtuoso tubist from the Opéra de Marseille who has become an international soloist.
Around these headliners, the program also features Monsieur Mâlâ, Le Mange Bal, Sambatik, Stomp in ze Pub, Who Parked the Car, Pierre-Yves Plat, The Flame Gospel Choir and the Michel Coppé Jazz Trio — a journey that spans funk, pop-jazz, folk, brass band, gospel and gypsy jazz.
On the visual arts side, more than 40 painters, sculptors, photographers and street artists take over the courtyards, barns and outbuildings of Hermonville residents. The streets of the town center are closed to traffic and welcome festival-goers to wander freely between concerts and exhibitions, in an atmosphere designed to foster exchanges between artists, residents and the public.
