Normandy's great pop-rock-electro festival at the Château de Beauregard
The Beauregard Festival was born in 2009 on the initiative of Paul Langeois, director-programmer of the Big Band Café, Claire Lesaulnier, event organizer, and Patrick Simon, manager of the Kafé Crème France agency. From its very first edition, 20,000 people flocked to the 23-hectare park of the Château de Beauregard, seduced by the original programming and the bucolic setting of the estate located in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, between Caen and the sea.
Beauregard stands out for its ability to bring together international renowned artists and emerging talents on its two stages. The festival covers all genres: rock, pop, electro, hip-hop, French chanson, and world music. Over the years, Beauregard's stages have hosted artists as diverse as Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, Justice, David Guetta, Zaho de Sagazan, Clara Luciani, Orelsan, and the Pixies.
Since the creation of Myster Black Productions for the 4th edition, bringing together the three founders joined by Dominique Revert, co-founder of Alias-Production, the festival has continued to grow. The duration has increased from two to five days, with a "Day Before" on Wednesday evening to kick off the festivities. Beauregard now welcomes over 20,000 festival-goers per day and also offers camping, food areas, and an associative village.
The Château de Beauregard estate offers a green and intimate setting, far from the atmosphere of large urban festivals. Festival-goers enjoy the lawns and century-old trees of the park to attend concerts in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, making Beauregard a unique experience in the French festival landscape.
The 18th edition of Festival Beauregard will be held from Wednesday, July 1st to Sunday, July 5th, 2026, in the park of Château de Beauregard in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, near Caen. Launched by a “Day Before” on Wednesday evening with Aya Nakamura and Macklemore, this edition notably brings together Orelsan, Pulp, The Hives, Franz Ferdinand, Dropkick Murphys, Charlotte Cardin, Vanessa Paradis, the Pixies, and Armin Van Buuren on its two open-air stages (Scène Beauregard and Scène John).
