Florissimo

An international floral exhibition

Florissimo is one of the largest floral exhibitions in France, organized every five years in Dijon since 1971. Supported by Dijon Congrexpo in partnership with the City of Dijon, this horticultural event takes over the Parc des Expositions for about ten days, transforming the halls into a true indoor tropical and botanical garden.

Ephemeral gardens and flora from around the world

Each edition of Florissimo features a theme presented through spectacular floral compositions, ephemeral gardens, and landscape designs created by florists, landscape designers, and horticulturists from around the world. The 2021 edition, titled "The Gardens of the World", offered a botanical journey across the five continents.

With attendance reaching up to 200,000 visitors, Florissimo is a major popular event that goes far beyond the usual audience for horticultural exhibitions. Families, gardening enthusiasts, landscape professionals, and the simply curious flock to admire the floral creations, participate in workshops, and discover the latest trends in gardening and floral art.

The exhibition benefits from the expertise of Dijon Congrexpo, manager of the Parc des Expositions and Dijon's Palais des Congrès, which ensures the logistics and scenography of this exceptional event. The five-year periodicity gives Florissimo a unique event status, with each edition being anticipated and prepared for several years.
