LA VOIE DES PEUPLES #10 — The Crossroads of Worlds
For ten editions, La Voie des Peuples has been taking the Bordeaux metropolitan area on a journey to the rhythm of world cultures. Organized by the La Pangée association, these editions have celebrated, in various locations, the Roma people, cultures from West Africa, the Andes, India, the Sahara, Japan, as well as Lusophone, Celtic, and Iranian traditions. This tenth chapter marks a turning point, bringing all these cultures together in one space.
For the first time, all the peoples and cultures encountered in previous editions are brought together, not just to celebrate them, but to foster dialogue: exploring foundational stories, symbols, languages, legacies, and different ways of perceiving the world. It is a grand intercultural and intergenerational gathering, a space for meeting, creation, and celebration—a multidisciplinary festival where cultures intersect, share their stories, and come to life.
For this anniversary edition, La Pangée and its partners are taking over the Parc de Mussonville in Bègles with a unique stage design and numerous free events leading up to the festival.

For ten editions, La Voie des Peuples has been taking the Bordeaux metropolitan area on a journey to the rhythm of world cultures. Supported by the La Pangée association, this multidisciplinary festival has successively celebrated the Roma people, cultures from West Africa, the Andes, India, the Sahara, Japan, as well as Lusophone, Celtic, and Iranian traditions.
The Crossroads of Worlds: a 10th anniversary edition
For its tenth chapter, titled "La Croisée des Mondes", the festival is bringing together for the first time all the peoples and cultures encountered during previous editions. The goal: not only to celebrate them but to foster dialogue around foundational stories, symbols, languages, and legacies.
Music, dance, workshops, and the World Village
Concerts (oriental jazz, forró, Celtic music, kizomba…), performances, workshops, screenings, round-table discussions, and a large World Village featuring gastronomy, crafts, and solidarity-based organizations will fill these three days in the Parc de Mussonville, in Bègles.
A local cooperation project
La Voie des Peuples brings together over 40 partner organizations—associations, cultural institutions, artist collectives, NGOs, companies, and media outlets—including the City of Bègles, RADSI, Amnesty International, La Cimade, and SINGA.

For its tenth anniversary, the festival returns to the Parc de Mussonville in Bègles from Friday, July 17th to Sunday, July 19th, 2026. Concerts, shows, workshops, film screenings, and a large World Village will bring global cultures together for an intercultural and intergenerational weekend.
