Oenotourism festival celebrating the Climats of the Burgundy vineyard, a UNESCO World Heritage site
The Climats of the Burgundy vineyard were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2015. This term refers to the precisely delimited vineyard plots that have existed for centuries on the slopes of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, each possessing unique geological and climatic conditions that give the wines their singular character. Le Mois des Climats celebrates this exceptional heritage through a popular and friendly festival.
From June to July, Le Mois des Climats offers a rich and varied program throughout the Côte-d'Or wine region: walks in the vineyards, outdoor performances, guided tastings, historical conferences, exhibitions, and treasure hunts in the heart of the vineyards. The activities are aimed at all audiences, from novices to connoisseurs.
The festival offers domain visits at reduced or free prices, guided hikes in the vineyards, and sensory workshops for all ages. Participants can thus understand what makes each Climat unique, from soil composition to plot orientation, as well as the ancestral know-how of Burgundy winegrowers.
The year 2025 marked the 10th anniversary of the inscription of the Climats as a UNESCO World Heritage site, with an exceptional program of celebrations, pride, and emotion throughout the territory. More than 80 events were offered for this anniversary edition.
Le Mois des Climats 2026 will take place from June to July in the territory of the Climats of the Burgundy vineyard, with a program of walks, shows, tastings, and activities to discover this UNESCO World Heritage site.
Location: The entire territory of the Climats of the Burgundy vineyard (Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune), Côte-d'Or.
