About Cogitations Festives
Les Cogitations is the festival of mocking arts supported by L'Entrepôt, a performance hall and cinema in the City of Le Haillan (Gironde), in the Bordeaux metropolitan area. Since 2015, it has highlighted satire, humor, gesticulated lectures, and press cartoons — all forms that play with the limits of propriety to make people laugh as an act of resistance against economic, political, or religious powers.
Each edition combines humor shows, gesticulated lectures, free aperitif concerts on L'Entrepôt's terrace, food trucks, and exhibitions by press cartoonists. Over the editions, the festival has welcomed artists such as Christophe Alévêque, Anne Roumanoff, Guillaume Meurice, Franck Lepage, Sophia Aram, Chris Esquerre, and Didier Super.
The festival of mocking arts in Le Haillan
Les Cogitations is the annual event conceived by the team of L'Entrepôt — a performance hall and cinema in the City of Le Haillan (33) — to celebrate what its programmers call the mocking arts: humor, stand-up, satire, gesticulated lectures, and press cartoons. The first edition was held in 2015, and today the festival unfolds every spring around a clear editorial line: « freedom of tone, freedom of speech, only doublespeak is censored ».
An iconoclastic program
On the program: headliners of stand-up and engaged humor, gesticulated lectures, more intimate shows, press cartoonists in residence, aperitif quizzes, free concerts, and catering on L'Entrepôt's terrace. The festival is aimed at an adult audience who enjoys humor that challenges, but also offers free events open to everyone (readings, exhibitions, terrace).
Artists expected in Bordeaux Métropole
Over the editions, Les Cogitations has welcomed notably Christophe Alévêque, Anne Roumanoff, Guillaume Meurice, Franck Lepage, Sophia Aram, Chris Esquerre, Didier Super, Gaël Tanguy, and the cartoonist Urbs. The festival has become a recognized event on the humor scene in Gironde and Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
L'Entrepôt, heart of the festival
All festival evenings take place at L'Entrepôt, 13 rue Georges Clemenceau in Le Haillan, a municipal cultural facility that programs live shows, art house cinema, and concerts throughout the year. Le Haillan is served by Bordeaux Métropole public transport (tramway A, Le Haillan-Rostand terminus then bus).

9th edition of Cogitations — Festival of Mocking Arts of Le Haillan. The 2026 edition unfolds in two rounds: from April 23 to 25 then from May 20 to 23, 2026, at L'Entrepôt du Haillan. Headliners: Yves Cusset, Christophe Alévêque, Djamil Le Shlag, Cie du Grand Soir, Akim Omiri, Florence Mendez and Jason Brokerss. Freedom of tone, press cartoons, gesticulated conferences and free aperitif-concerts on the terrace.
9th Edition — Two Rounds in April and May 2026
For its 9th anniversary, the festival unfolds in two parts: a first round from April 23 to 25, 2026 and a second round from May 20 to 23, 2026, still at L'Entrepôt du Haillan. On the program: freedom of tone, freedom of speech, impertinence to laugh and understand the times, live press cartoons throughout the festival with Cami, Soph', Urbs and Visant, two quiz-aperitifs and their wheel of fortune, terrace dining, sharing and good humor.

Regarding headliners: Christophe Alévêque with his Méga Revue de presse surrounded by cartoonists (April 24), Djamil Le Shlag in Exode(s) (April 25), Akim Omiri in Contexte — sold out (May 22), Florence Mendez in Délicate — sold out (May 23 afternoon) and Jason Brokerss in Grands garçons (May 23 evening). The festival opens with Yves Cusset and his Réussir sa vie du premier coup (April 23), then the second round starts with Jacques & Chirac by Cie du Grand Soir (May 20) and La Chienlit / Épisode 1 — Pour un fascisme ludique et sans complexe by Grand Colossal Théâtre (May 21).
Free Events
On Saturday, April 25 at 11 am at the municipal library of Le Haillan, a reading competition « Bref, c'est décidé » — free admission. Several aperitif-concerts on L'Entrepôt's terrace punctuate the two rounds with free access.

Access
Festival at L'Entrepôt, 13 rue Georges Clemenceau, 33185 Le Haillan (Bordeaux Métropole). Access by tram line A (Le Haillan-Rostand terminus) then bus, or by car from the Bordeaux ring road (exit 8 or 9).
Ticketing
Online booking on reservations.lentrepot-lehaillan.fr. Ticket office at L'Entrepôt from Wednesday to Friday (13h-18h, 13h-17h during school holidays). Prices vary depending on the shows: full price from 12 to 30 €, reduced from 8 to 25 €. Some events (readings, aperitif concerts on the terrace) are free.
