Les Fous Rires, the major comedy event
Les Fous Rires de Bordeaux was born in 2017 with the ambition to make Bordeaux a capital of comedy. Every March, the festival brings together the best French comedians in the emblematic theaters of the Bordeaux metropolitan area.
A rich and varied program
The festival offers about thirty shows spread over six days, with one-man shows, stand-up, improvisation, and comedy shows. The program mixes recognized headliners with emerging talents, offering a complete panorama of contemporary comedy.
Iconic venues
The shows take place in the most beautiful venues in Bordeaux and its metropolitan area: the Théâtre Fémina, the Casino Barrière, the Théâtre Trianon, and the Pin Galant in Mérignac. Each venue offers a different atmosphere to enjoy comedy.
A growing festival
Since its creation, Les Fous Rires de Bordeaux has continued to grow, from a few shows to a program of over 45 artists. The festival is supported by France Bleu Gironde and attracts an ever-larger audience.
