Since 1997, the village of Givry — a prestigious appellation in the Côte Chalonnaise — transforms each year into a vibrant meeting place for artists and festival-goers. Les Musicaves were born from a simple and appealing idea: to combine music and wine, two quintessential Burgundian passions, in the sumptuous setting of the Domaine Thénard.

An Eclectic and Borderless Program

The Musicaves program is resolutely eclectic and intergenerational. Rock, French chanson, world music, electro, jazz: all genres share the stage, in a spirit of musical openness that rejects labels. Each evening concludes with DJ sets that keep the party going until the early hours. On Sundays, a morning of classical poetry and harmony offers a refined counterpoint to the effervescence of the previous evenings.

The Perfect Pairing of Music and Terroir

What sets Les Musicaves apart from other music festivals is the integration of wine and gastronomy into the heart of the experience. Festival-goers can taste Givry appellation wines — red and white — served by the winemakers themselves, while savoring local Burgundian specialties. The Domaine Thénard, with its century-old cedar trees and wooded park, offers an authentic and warm setting that delights the approximately 5,000 festival-goers present each year.
