About Macadam Jazz
Macadam Jazz is a summer jazz festival that has enlivened the squares and gardens of Périgueux for over thirty years. Since 2022, the festival has been run by the association Le Sans Réserve at the request of the City of Périgueux, and offers free and paid concerts mixing jazz, world music, and contemporary music. In 2025, the festival adopts a new format condensed into three days around the Visitation cultural center.

More than 30 years of jazz in Périgueux
Created in the early 1990s, Macadam Jazz has become an unmissable event of the Périgord summer. For over three decades, the festival has filled the most beautiful squares and gardens of Périgueux with jazz, offering residents and visitors open-air musical evenings in an exceptional heritage setting.
A new format since 2022
Since 2022, the organization of the festival has been entrusted to the association Le Sans Réserve, in close collaboration with the City of Périgueux. In 2025, Macadam Jazz is reinventing itself with a format condensed into three days, centered around the Visitation cultural center, while still offering free concerts scattered throughout the city.
An "in and off" model
The festival is inspired by an "in and off" model: paid programming in the heart of the Visitation and free concerts spread across the squares and gardens of Périgueux. A festival village set up in the courtyard of the Visitation offers a bar, food, and DJ sets, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout the weekend.

Macadam Jazz is expected to return in late July 2026 in Périgueux for a new summer edition mixing jazz, world music, and contemporary music in the city's squares and gardens.

The festival takes place in the city center of Périgueux (24000), notably at the Visitation cultural center, Place du Gour de l'Arche, Place Saint-Silain, and the Visitation garden.
