Born in 2023, Meusnes in Jazz is a festival that happily celebrates the meeting between jazz music and the wine-growing terroir of Loir-et-Cher. Set in the enchanting grounds of the wooded park of Château de Quinçay, a family wine estate located in Meusnes, the festival offers a unique experience where the pleasures of the ear and the palate combine harmoniously.
A Wine Estate Steeped in History
The Domaine du Château de Quinçay is a wine-growing property passed down through generations since 1860. Its wooded park, shaded alleys, and characterful buildings provide an ideal setting for a human-sized festival. The estate produces wines under the Touraine, Touraine-Chenonceaux, and Valençay appellations, which are showcased throughout the day.
An Eclectic Jazz Program
The festival offers a full day of concerts on its main stage, from mid-afternoon until the evening. The program covers a wide spectrum of jazz and its related genres: traditional jazz, gypsy jazz, soul, blues, funk, and electro-swing. Four to five bands perform one after another, offering the audience a rich and varied musical journey, from revisited standards to the most audacious contemporary creations.

The festival takes place in the vast wooded park of Château de Quinçay, a family wine estate with authentic charm. The area is set up with a main stage, shaded areas for the public, food and tasting stalls, and relaxation zones under the park's century-old trees.
Access
By car: Meusnes is located 50 km south of Blois and 15 km south of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher, accessible via the D956 from Saint-Aignan or the D17 from Selles-sur-Cher. Free and spacious parking at the estate, with volunteers to guide parking. Signage from the center of Meusnes village.
Carpooling: The festival encourages carpooling. Information is available on the event's Facebook page to organize your trip.
Opening Hours
Gates open in the mid-afternoon, around 4 PM. The first concerts start at 4:30 PM and continue until late evening, around 11:30 PM. Four to five bands perform on the main stage with breaks between sets to enjoy tastings and food.
