Every June 21, La Teste-de-Buch celebrates the Fête de la Musique on the Arcachon Bay: local and guest groups perform for free on the Carreau du Marché in the city center and under the Halle de Cazaux, while bars and terraces extend the evening. The Fête de la Musique in La Teste-de-Buch
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms La Teste-de-Buch into an open-air stage every June 21. On the Arcachon Bay, France's second largest commune by area celebrates the shortest night of the year with free open-air concerts, from the conservatory to local bands, in a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere.
Two celebration hubs: the city center and Cazaux
The town comes alive at two main sites. In the heart of the city center, the Carreau du Marché hosts a stage where groups perform throughout the evening, with on-site catering. About ten kilometers away, the village of Cazaux offers its own program under the Halle Cazaline, initiated by the neighborhood council and the neighborhood center, combining music workshops and concerts. The town's bars and restaurants also participate in the celebration, with concerts on terraces or inside establishments.
