Every June 21, Le Creusot celebrates the Fête de la Musique: the city sets up several open-air stages in its center, where amateur musicians, local bands, and choirs perform for free throughout the afternoon and evening. As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Le Creusot into an open-air stage every June 21. The Ville du Creusot sets up several musical spaces in the city center, where musicians, singers, bands, and choirs of all levels and styles perform for free.
Several stages in the city center
For the 2026 edition, the Ville du Creusot is setting up three musical spaces distributed throughout the center: a stage at Place Schneider, a stage on the Esplanade François-Mitterrand, and a more intimate stage. Concerts take place outdoors between 2 PM and 10 PM, with all musical styles welcome.
The city's bars and restaurants traditionally extend the celebration by offering concerts on their terraces or inside their establishments, making music resonate throughout the city until evening.
