As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the commune of Marcq-en-Barœul, in the Lille metropolitan area, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from mid-afternoon until evening, in all genres and for all audiences.
Several stages spread throughout the city
For the 2026 edition, the festival unfolds in several locations: the hall and surroundings of Minorelle (25 rue Raymond Derain) host jazz and classical music, the Place du Général de Gaulle makes way for pop, electro, and covers, while a Marching Band connects the different points of the festival. In parallel, the Assodocle association programs a large 100% rock stage in the Théâtre Charcot car park, from bluegrass to pop-rock covers.
