As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Plaisance-du-Touch, a town in western Toulouse, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from the afternoon until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.

Usually, the day opens with a participatory stage at the Joséphine Baker media library, where local talents are invited to perform, before the celebration continues in the evening by Lake François Soula, which hosts the main stage and its open-air concerts.
