About Ultra-Trail di Corsica
The Ultra-Trail di Corsica (UTC) is a mountain trail race held every summer in Corte, in the heart of Haute-Corse. The flagship event of the Restonica Trail by UTMB weekend, it offers a course of approximately 110 km with 7,200 m of positive elevation gain, partly following the route of the legendary GR20.
The Ultra-Trail di Corsica (UTC) is the main ultra-distance event of the trail weekend organized in Corte, now integrated into the UTMB World Series circuit under the name Restonica Trail by UTMB.
The UTC course (approximately 110 km, +7,200 m) takes runners through the Restonica gorges, the Laricio pine forests, and up to the high-altitude lakes (Capitellu, Melu), with a passage at Bocca Crucetta at 2,415 m, following part of the GR20. Around the UTC, the weekend offers several shorter formats : the Restonica Trail, the Tavignanu Trail, and the Giru di Tumbone, as well as children's races.
The start and finish are located in Corte, a stage town in the center of Corsica, renowned for its mountain landscapes and the Restonica valley.

The Ultra-Trail di Corsica (UTC) returns in 2026 to Corte, in the heart of Haute-Corse, as part of the Restonica Trail by UTMB weekend. The flagship event, 110 km long with approximately 7,200 m of positive elevation gain, starts on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 PM and takes runners up to Bocca Crucetta (2,415 m).
The Ultra-Trail di Corsica is the flagship event of the trail weekend organized in Corte from July 9 to 11, 2026, now integrated into the UTMB World Series circuit under the name Restonica Trail by UTMB.
Over 110 km and approximately 7,200 m of positive elevation gain, the UTC course partly follows the mythical GR20: crystal-clear waters of the Restonica gorges, laricio pine forests, ascent to the high-altitude lakes (Capitellu, Melu), and passage through Bocca Crucetta, the highest point at 2,415 m. The start is given on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 PM from Corte (solo or relay), with a time limit of 48 hours.
The weekend offers several formats around the UTC: the Restonica Trail (approximately 67 km), the Tavignanu Trail (approximately 33 km), and the Giru di Tumbone (approximately 17 km), as well as children's races. Registrations are open until June 30, 2026.
