More than 500 exhibitors at L'Illiade
In Chartres, the L'Artisanat C'Chartres fair opens this Friday, October 2, and closes on Sunday the 4th, in the new exhibition park of Chartres Métropole, L'Illiade, where more than 500 exhibitors gather every autumn. Crafts, food, fashion and construction all meet there. It is the largest trade and craft fair in the Eure-et-Loir department.

In Bourges, in the Cher, BulleBerry brings comic book fans together at the Palais des Congrès, this weekend, for two days of signings and exhibitions around the ninth art, an event created in 1996. In Romorantin-Lanthenay, in the Sologne. Manga Sci-Fi Days gathers manga, sci-fi, anime, comics, fantasy film and cosplay fans at the Fabrique Normant, since 2022, at this event dedicated to pop culture, which also sets up exhibitor stands.
In Palluau-sur-Indre, in the Indre, the book fair welcomes about sixty authors from the Centre region this Sunday, an event run since 2010 by the Prosipal association that draws between 600 and 800 visitors for meetings, talks, signings and a bar-lounge. Off to the Lochois. In Loches and Beaulieu-lès-Loches, the Sonates d'Automne festival, created in 1991 by Jean-Christophe Gayot, opens this Saturday with its chamber music concert series, led under the artistic direction of Philippe Berrod, across heritage sites there. On to Villedieu-sur-Indre. The Goualantes Théopolitaines bring together more than 30 street singers from across France, between barrel organs and accordions, an event created in 2009 that also mixes craftspeople, makers, old trades and a local market.
Saturday evening, in Déols. Run with the Ligue contre le cancer, the Déols en Rose opening takes place at the abbey cloister, with sign-ups for the Marche en Rose, an inauguration, the start of the nighttime walk, dance performances and concerts. This opening evening launches the Octobre Rose month. Local clubs and associations then run their own events, bingo nights and tea dances. Every autumn, in Valençay. The Talleyrand festival, an early-music festival created in 2014, closes its fourth and final gathering of the season this weekend, with classical and baroque concerts, musical theatre and lectures, in the Théâtre Empire of the château, in tribute to Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord. Four weekends of concerts, in all.
