Gathering of old rigs and maritime festival in Séné
The Fête des Voiles Rouges is a biennial maritime event held at Port-Anna, the historic port of Séné, in the heart of the Golfe du Morbihan. Every two years, alternating with the Semaine du Golfe, this festival celebrates the maritime heritage of Séné through a gathering of sinagots and red-sailed old rigs, nautical activities, sea shanty concerts, festive meals, and quayside entertainment. Entry is free and parking is available.
The Fête des Voiles Rouges celebrates the maritime heritage of Séné and the Golfe du Morbihan through the most emblematic event of the port of Port-Anna. The "red sails" refer to the sinagots, these traditional fishing boats from Séné whose sails were tanned with oak bark, giving them that characteristic reddish-brown color that has become the symbol of the commune.
During each edition, the port of Port-Anna hosts a gathering of old rigs from all over the Golfe du Morbihan and beyond. Sinagots, forbans, dinghies, and other traditional red and brown-sailed vessels come together to sail in the waters of the Gulf, offering a striking maritime spectacle.

Port-Anna is the historic port of Séné, in the heart of the Golfe du Morbihan. This small traditional fishing port, with its slipways, quays, and sailors' houses, offers an authentic and picturesque setting for the Fête des Voiles Rouges. It is here that the sinagots had their home port and where the maritime tradition of Séné continues to live.
Entry to the Fête des Voiles Rouges is completely free. Parking is free and access to the site is open to all. The festivities take place on Saturday from 10 am to 1 am and on Sunday from 10 am to 10:30 pm.
