Grand popular and nautical festival on August 15th at Lac de Guerlédan
The Fête du Lac de Guerlédan is held every August 15th at the Anse de Landroannec, on the shores of Lac de Guerlédan, a vast 400-hectare body of water nestled between the Côtes-d'Armor and Morbihan departments. For over thirty years, this free popular festival has become an unmissable summer event in Central Brittany.
The festival begins at 7:30 AM with the opening of the flea market and the start of the hikes (5, 6, 11, and 18 km circuits). From 11 AM, water activities take over: kayaking, paddleboarding, tube rides, and climbing. In the afternoon, a beach volleyball tournament and a pétanque competition animate the lakeside.
Children can enjoy face painting workshops, toy crafting, treasure hunts, and activities focused on renewable energy. Rescue dog demonstrations are also offered. On-site catering accompanies this festive day.
In the evening, a concert followed by a fest-noz (traditional Breton dance) kicks off the night's festivities, before the grand fireworks display illuminates the lake around 11:15 PM.
The 2026 edition of the Fête du Lac de Guerlédan will be held on Saturday, August 15th at the Anse de Landroannec. This traditional event in Central Brittany will offer a full day of free activities by the lake: flea market, hikes, water sports, children's entertainment, concerts, fest-noz, and fireworks. The detailed program will be announced during the summer of 2026.
The festival takes place at the Anse de Landroannec, Mûr-de-Bretagne, 22530 Guerlédan.
