The festival of musical turmoil in cities
GéNéRiQ is the first cultural event to unite an archipelago of cities with strong identities: Dijon, Besançon, Belfort, Mulhouse, and the Pays de Montbéliard. Jointly supported by six structures (La Vapeur in Dijon, Le Moloco in Montbéliard, La Poudrière in Belfort, La Rodia in Besançon, Le Noumatrouff in Mulhouse, and Les Eurockéennes), this festival is a collective adventure that reinvents the relationship between artists and the public.
GéNéRiQ's specialty is to musically invest everyday places: bars, cafes, media libraries, public spaces, in addition to traditional concert halls. This proximity approach allows it to reach a wide audience and create unexpected encounters between artists and residents.
Over four days and five cities, GéNéRiQ programs around 45 concerts, half of which are free. The program is resolutely contemporary and eclectic, mixing rock, pop, electro, hip-hop, and experimental music. The festival is a true laboratory for musical discoveries.
GéNéRiQ returns in February 2026 for its 20th anniversary edition, with concerts in five cities of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Eclectic programming and unusual venues are on the agenda.
