The crazy obstacle race on Vassiviere Island
La Dejantee is a 12 km obstacle race that takes place on the island and shores of Lake Vassiviere, in Creuse. Created in 2012, this fun and friendly event offers about thirty obstacles to cross in mud, water, and manure, alone or in a team. With up to 2,200 participants, La Dejantee has become a must-attend event for obstacle racing in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, prioritizing mutual aid and self-improvement in a festive atmosphere.
Since 2012, La Dejantee has brought together hundreds of runners every autumn on Vassiviere Island for a unique obstacle race. On a 12 km course, participants face about thirty obstacles that take them through mud, the lake's water, and even piles of manure. The spirit is not about competition but about self-improvement and friendliness.
La Dejantee can be run individually or as a team, making it an ideal adventure with friends, family, or colleagues. The obstacles are designed to be accessible to all fitness levels, with always the option to bypass the most difficult ones. The atmosphere is resolutely festive and good-natured.
