The electronic music festival of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
Le Sirk Festival is the electronic music festival of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Every April, for four weeks, it takes over emblematic venues in the Dijon metropolitan area with around thirty concerts mixing international, national, and regional artists.
Created in 2016, Le Sirk Festival transforms Dijon into the capital of electronic music throughout April. Supported by La Vapeur, the city's contemporary music venue, this festival offers around thirty concerts spread across eight to nine events, taking over diverse locations such as concert halls, museums, an airport, and a stadium.
Since its creation, Le Sirk has hosted major figures of the global electronic scene: Jeff Mills, Anetha, Helena Hauff, Luciano, SHERELLE, and Vitalic. The festival mixes established artists and emerging talents, offering a demanding and eclectic program that covers all facets of electronic music, from techno to house, including ambient and footwork.
The uniqueness of Le Sirk Festival lies in its ability to take over unusual venues: the Consortium Museum, Dijon-Bourgogne Airport, the Gaston Gérard stadium, and even industrial wastelands. This approach transforms each evening into a unique experience, where music dialogues with architecture and space.
