Magica Noctis is a nocturnal light trail that transforms the Château de Selles-sur-Cher and its gardens into a magical and enchanting universe. Located in the heart of the Val de Loire, about an hour from Tours, Blois, Vierzon, and Châteauroux, this immersive show is one of the most spectacular nighttime experiences in Loir-et-Cher.

A 1.5 km Trail Between Castle and Enchanted Forest

The 1.5-kilometer trail winds through the courtyards and halls of the medieval castle before extending into an enchanted forest. Visitors walk through successive luminous scenes, each telling a story and creating a unique atmosphere. The large-scale laser projections on the castle facades are one of the highlights of the trail, blending cutting-edge technology with historical heritage.

A Technical Feat in the Service of Emotion

Magica Noctis deploys an impressive technical setup: 450 projectors, 5 kilometers of fairy lights, and 26 computers programmed along the route orchestrate a ballet of lights, colors, and sounds. The show is designed by Pyradaire, a company specializing in light creations based in Noyers-sur-Cher, which chose the Château de Selles-sur-Cher for its exceptional setting, combining medieval architecture and natural landscape.

An Eco-Responsible Commitment

The light trail is designed with an ambitious eco-responsible approach. The technologies used—LED, fiber optics, and lasers—are selected for their low energy consumption. The stated goal is to power the entire trail with solar energy in the coming years, making Magica Noctis a model of sustainable nocturnal entertainment.
