Each year on the first weekend of August, Objat becomes the capital of French gastronomy. The Marché des Confréries, organized by the Confrérie du Veau de Lait élevé sous la Mère du Pays d'Objat, brings together over 50 exhibitors from all over France to celebrate local products and culinary traditions.

The Marché des Confréries d'Objat returns on August 1st and 2nd, 2026 at the Parc municipal for a new weekend dedicated to gastronomy and local products.
More than 50 brotherhoods and Remarkable Sites of Taste from all over France will present their exceptional products: milk-fed veal from Objat, AOP cheeses, prestigious wines, charcuterie, seafood products, local fruits and vegetables, honeys, and many other specialties.
Meet the producers, taste their products, discover their know-how, and leave with quality products.

- By car: Objat is located about 25 km south of Brive-la-Gaillarde. Follow the N89 then the D901.
- Parking: Free parking available near the park (high attendance, arriving early recommended).
- By train: Brive-la-Gaillarde station (25 km away), then bus or taxi.

Objat also organizes milk-fed veal fairs on the 2nd, 4th, and sometimes 5th Tuesdays of each month. On Sunday mornings, the weekly market attracts over 10,000 visitors during the summer season.
