About Music Festival in Lormont
Every June 21, Lormont celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, students from the municipal music school, and local artists perform for free throughout the city. Organized by the Ville de Lormont, on the right bank of the Bordeaux metropolis, the festival is entirely free and open to all.
The Fête de la Musique in Lormont
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the commune of Lormont, on the right bank of the Bordeaux metropolis, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces and cultural facilities of the city, in all genres and for all audiences.

The event mobilizes the municipal school of music, dance, and theater, whose singing classes and vocal ensembles offer a concert, as well as the Espace culturel du Bois fleuri. Students, amateur practitioners, and local groups take turns bringing the festival to life in the city.
