SwimRunMan Vassiviere, the swimrun adventure in the heart of Limousin
Since 2016, SwimRunMan Vassiviere has been transforming Lake Vassiviere into a playground for swimrun enthusiasts. This spectacular discipline consists of alternating running sections and open water swimming in an exceptional natural setting. The courses cross the islands and shores of the lake, offering breathtaking landscapes.
Three formats for all levels
The event offers three main distances: the Sprint (11 km), the Classic (23 km), and the Half (38 km), the latter being labeled OTILLO Merit Race. On Saturday, a SwimRunMan Kids event allows children aged 6 to 15 to discover the discipline over adapted distances from 800 m to 2,500 m. A nocturnal Night Swim completes the program.
A magnificent natural setting
Lake Vassiviere and its 1,000 hectares offer an ideal terrain for swimrun. The courses cross the towns of Peyrat-le-Chateau, Beaumont-du-Lac, Faux-la-Montagne, and Royere-de-Vassiviere, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Regional de Millevaches.
SwimRunMan — edition 2026
The 11th edition of SwimRunMan Vassiviere will be held in June 2026 on Lake Vassiviere. Registration and detailed program information will be announced on the official website swimrunman.fr.
