The Vibrez Classique festival is a spring event dedicated to classical music that brings together the towns of Séné and Saint-Avé in Morbihan. For over ten years, this festival has offered a week of concerts and musical encounters aimed at making classical music accessible and vibrant for all audiences.

A Week of Musical Sharing

For one week, the festival offers a varied program:

• Concerts by professional musicians in the performance venues
• Performances by students from the municipal music schools of Séné and Saint-Avé
• Concerts by passionate amateur musicians
• Musical stories for young audiences
• Concerts outside the walls in unexpected locations

Music Everywhere, for Everyone

The originality of Vibrez Classique lies in its desire to bring classical music beyond traditional concert halls. Concerts are organized in nursing homes (EHPAD), at the hospital, in the media library, and in other living spaces, allowing audiences who do not usually have access to classical music to experience it.

Two Venues, Two Towns

The festival primarily takes place in two venues:

• Le Dôme, the cultural center of Saint-Avé, a modern and versatile performance space
• Le Grain de Sel, the cultural space of Séné, a warm and intimate venue

This dual-town location fosters exchanges between audiences and musicians from both municipalities.

Transmission and Training

Vibrez Classique is also a festival of transmission. Students from the municipal music schools of Séné and Saint-Avé actively participate in the festival, performing on stage alongside professional musicians. This educational dimension makes the festival a tool for training and motivation for young musicians.

An Exemplary Inter-municipal Partnership

The festival is the result of a collaboration between the cultural services of Séné and Saint-Avé. This inter-municipal partnership allows for the pooling of resources and skills to offer a high-quality event to a wider population base.
